Than an Hour Of Praise After a Success" -unknown

MAYSA is a volunteer organization that strives to offer an excellent opportunity for personal and athletic growth at an affordable cost. Our mission is to provide a fun and exciting environment that fosters the development of the complete soccer player.

We represent ourselves, our team, and our organization with dignity and honor while working to achieve widespread respect and recognition.  Our commitment to excellence allows us to build the foundation of self-confidence, camaraderie, teamwork, and goal-orientation that will translate into successes both on and off the field.

MAYSA is a 501c3 nonprofit and operated solely by volunteers under the direction of a Board of Directors.  MAYSA is funded by player registration fees, concession sales and generous local business donations.  To contact the current Board of Directors, click on the Contact Us tab.

MAYSA is a member of Pennsylvania West State Soccer Association (PA West).  PA West is the state association of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), and the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA).   Currently PA membership includes 60,000 youth players, 2,000 amateur adult players, 7,000 active coaches, 2,300 referees and thousands of volunteers involved in its network of over 120 local member clubs of which MAYSA is one.

Several years ago while MAYSA was in search of a long term place to call home.  In what can only be called an extraordinarily generous act,  Cool Springs Fitness (CSF), offered to guarantee the long-term availability of soccer to the Mercer Area Youth by building three soccer fields and partnering with MAYSA.

As part of our partnership with CSF, MAYSA maintains the fields.  Our partnership with CSF has insured the children of Mercer and the surrounding area will have access to recreational and competitive soccer for years to come.  For directions to our home fields, click here.
