U.S. Soccer and our governing organization P.A. West continue to lead the way in terms of coaching education and training.  During the fall season, PA West announced, that prior to August 31, 2015 all currently non-certified or non-licensed coaches and assistant-coaches must have completed one of the training options available.
During the fall soccer season many of our MAYSA coaches and assistants completed their requirement by obtaining their U.S. Youth Soccer Youth-Module (or Y-Module) Training Certification.

Thus, prior to August 31st of this year, all non-certified or non-licensed coaches and assistants must have completed either the appropriate U.S. Soccer Y-Module training certification or obtained a U.S. Soccer F- License.  Please review the options below and choose what works best for your schedule.   Click on the links below for further information about each training option.

U.S. Youth Soccer Training:

(a)  Youth Module 6-8:  45 minutes online session and approximately 60-90 minute field session

(b)  Youth Module 10-12: 45 minutes online session and approximately 60-90 minute field session

Currently scheduled training session: Field Session Schedule

U.S. Soccer (national) Licensing:

(c)  National F-License:  2 hour online course (no field session)

(d)  National E-License: 18 hour course including online and field sessions

As of now the most convenient option, for those who did not obtain their Y-Module in the fall, may be the National F-License as it does not require a field session.  However, please review each option and get started.  Please contact us as you proceed and we will insure your PA West account accurately reflects your certification or licensing.
